You are allowed to use a company other than your cell phone provider for long distance calling. Prior to Bridge calling, calling cards were the way around high cell phone company long distance rates.

With Bridge Calling you no longer need to buy calling cards, hassle with remembering the 15 digit pin numbers, deal with lost cards, or calling card gimmicks that reduce their value.

Record your cell phone number ONE TIME into the Bridge and we will know it is your cell phone calling when you dial your VoiceStick phone number. You are automatically given a new dial tone without the hassle of pin numbers.

To activate Bridge calling, go to the My Account section of VoiceStick. Enter your User ID and Password. Under the "Manage Features" menu, at the far left of your screen, click on MGT Bridge/Friends & Family. There you can enable the feature by entering the phone number of the device from which you will be calling, setting your Caller ID to either your phone number or your VoiceStick number and then setting the status to "Enabled". This will allow you to make long distance calls from your Mobile Phone, Home Phone or Office Phone at our low, low rates. Every time you place a call from that phone to your VoiceStick phone number, our system will automatically intercept your call and prompt you to enter the number you wish to call. It is that easy to save money.

For easy access dialing, you can save numbers to your mobile phonebook with the handset-specific sequences below.

Nokia Phones:

With Global Call Forwarding you don't even need a computer to receive calls. You can automatically forward all your incoming calls to a different phone number anywhere in the world. You can have all calls to your VoiceStick number forwarded to your hotel in Paris, Prague, Hong Kong, etc. for free. You don't pay nor does the caller!

To setup and activate Global Call Forwarding please log in to My Account.

Allow your friends and family to use your account. You may authorize up to 5 additional phone numbers that can use your account in addition to yourself. Enter the numbers in the Friends and Family section under the Manage Features menu of your My Account control panel

Customers can make UNLIMITED calls worldwide to other VoiceStick subscribers at no extra cost.

Manage your account on the Internet. Customize your account features such as VoiceMail, special rings, speed dialing and Global Call Forwarding all from your online account manager. Online billing lets you view current and previous invoices, billing and charge summaries, monthly usage summary, and payment history.

VoiceStick gives you three easy ways to access your VoiceMail messages: VoiceMail from the web allows you to access your messages from any computer connected to the Internet. VoiceMail from email allows you to forward your message to your email, and then listen to your VoiceMail message as an attachment through your email account. You can also access VoiceMail from any telephone in the world. Use your personal account manager to select the VoiceMail controls that are right for you.

Shows the contacts in the Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express with phone numbers. It appears only if Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express is installed

Available in the Advanced Mode interface only and may be unavailable for some service profiles. You may assign several hot keys to perform common operations on the Hot Keys tab. Attention! When any of the Option tabs is active, the hot keys are disabled.

Your personal address book stores contact information, including telephone numbers and e-mail addresses, directly on your Account Manager. Click-to-dial any telephone number. The VoiceStick personal phone book works with Microsoft Outlook so that you can re-populate information from one contact list right into your address book.

Call Logs itemizes all calling activity on your VoiceStick account. The log lists the caller name, telephone number, date, time and length of all dialed, received and missed calls. All data from the call log can be easily transferred into your personal address book for future use.

Save up to 10 of your most frequently dialed numbers and dial them with single digit shortcuts. Speed Dial numbers can be saved on your VoiceStick Account Manager. Click the necessary button on the main panel, or press the digital button on your keyboard. VoiceStick will place the information in the Call To: field. Dial a pre-defined number by dialing one or two digits.

When you receive a call, the caller’s number is displayed on your computer screen dial pad. You may also be able to see the caller’s name in your web account. At a given time, your phone screen will always display the identity of the last caller.

Put a call on hold at any time, for any reason.

VoiceStick keeps track of the length of all your calls and displays this action in the telephone screen.

VoiceStick keeps track of your most recently dialed numbers in the history file, located by clicking the arrow key on the right hand side of the telephone screen display.

Have your calls forwarded directly to VoiceMail. The Do Not Disturb prevents your phone from ringing.

Call waiting allows you to accept an incoming call while you're already talking to another caller. A special tone lets you know that a second caller is trying to reach you. You can change back and forth between both calls as many times as you would like by pressing the “*” button.

You can connect with two other parties at the same time so that the three of you can talk at once. And you can increase your calling circle with up to as many as 8 callers. (Depending on local bandwidth and CPU Speed)

Unique, personal phone numbers are available with an area code of your choice when you signup for most VoiceStick calling plans. Choosing a calling plan that provides you with a personal phone number is a great way to add a second home phone line for the kids or a private number for select friends. A VoiceStick account could also be used as a business line for your home office or even a fax line. Give your VoiceStick number to your friends when you travel overseas and turn on GLOBAL CALL FORWARDING so you're charged at the VoiceStick rates, not the expensive carrier rates.
